Needless to say I'll be indisposed until my life can get Comcastic again -- which would be another gift/curse situation, but that's neither here nor there ...

sidenote: yes, that is a phone, but it drives the "disconnected" feeling home ... non-metaphorically it is the assumed "after" picture if my apt. doesn't get that "reconnected" feeling in the near future ...
